THIS WEEK

This week

has

seen

the most

amazing

night skies...........

Being asked by

a three year old

to tuck his blue

(dry!)

face cloth

into

the

back of

his   neck

in order that he

 run  off

and be:

Making raisin and sultana

loaf and taking

time to sit and

to really

smell

the

coffee........................

Watching

female Blackcap

feeding

at

one of the

coconut shells...............

Sorting out

the

disgustingly

tangled

yarn

stash.........

 Staring

in

wonderment

at

the

David Hockney

exhibition

via "The Culture Show".........

This week

has also seen

me

being selected

as

"Flavour Of The Week"

by

the

canine

world..........

OUCH!

Onwards and downwards.........

;O)

It was all going really well (I loved the culture show too) until the bit about the dog. Hope you're okay?

I wish I could buy that bird on a coconut as a card and the wool one too. So clever. But have you been bitten? Badly? I hope you heal quickly...

Really? A dog fancied you as a snack? Eech!

I'm very excited about your black cap.

I think I might need to put a piece of cloth down the back of my neck. I fancy some super powers.

uh oh!
and unlike getting doused with bird poo, no-one can fob you off by telling you it's "lucky" (how did we ever fall for that downright lie?)
Sending virtual balm to your very real sore bits

Loved this post - until I got to the bit about the canine capers - sounds nasty and hope you're not too gnawed? x

You were bitten by a dog?! That's awful, I hope you don't hurt too much.

I like the making of Super Boy.

Do love everything here except the idea of being a dog chew. Hope that was a metaphorical lunch date with a dog; if not then my commiserations for a bite that is usually accompanied by a needle. (Never forgotten the indignity of the injection at 3 after our dog bit me!).

Love this post Cathy.

Please sympathise, owing to mist and grey, yes grey, cloud I have missed all of the marvellous astronomic configurations. Damn, it's the 1999 total eclipse disaster all over again!!!!

Hello chaps! Yes, I got a bitten.... It was an elderly, deaf and shortsighted dog and an unfortunate set of circumstances. I rang the doorbell at a house that I clean, then opened the door but the dog had come to investigate and as I pushed the door, it struck the dog on its face. I instantly put my hand down to commiserate and it obviously felt threatened and bit....... right on that knobbly bone that sticks out on the side of the wrist. Very painful at the time but not life threatening!

Oh no, sorry to hear about the encounter with the sharp end of the dog -- you didn't need a tetanus jab? I love your drawings, specially the birdy one. Lovely.

Love your graphics in fact love the whole post. The night sky here has been fantastic too.

Your artwork is delightful Cathy, what an eclectic mix of happenings. The night sky made us stop and stare too - I think it was Venus nudging up to the moon. I've recorded David Hockney for a quiet moment, looking forward to a viewing. Hope you and the doggy are friends again.
